I gotta go to my vegan crush’s restaurant @modernlovebrooklyn @isachandra The food was amazing; Shrooms and Grits, Philly Steak, Chik’n and Waffles, oh my! I became vegan for a large part because of @postpunkkitchen years ago and now have all her cookbooks and have finally gone to her restaurant. I will honestly say that if you want to buy a vegan cookbook that is easy, funny, creative, and delicious, you cannot go wrong with anything written by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Some of my favorite cookbooks are:

The first night @veganwomensummit was a reception at Gracie Mansion. Mayor @nycmayor Eric Adams (who is vegan) spoke for 20 minutes about the benefits of a plant based diet and the work they are doing including that all NYC hospitals now offer plant-based meals! Very cool and very inspiring.
